Illustration and Design

I love the physicality of hand-drawn things, but lately I've been learning graphic design and illustration. The projects below showcase various ways I have expanded my knowledge on the two. I primarily used Photoshop, InDesign, and Procreate.

Good Boy, Nacho!

I had the amazing opportunity to collaborate on a children's book with author, Kristine McQuown (she is also my aunt!) This was my first time illustrating and my first time doing digital art. I learned a lot during this process and I am grateful for this project!

The book was a hit! It became an Amazon #1 Best Seller and also received the Readers' Favorite Five Star award.

Made From Concentrate

Social media content and promotional materials I designed for a digital exhibition that took place on online. For more about this, check out @made.from.concentrate on IG.

Queens Village Art Fundraiser

Local artist, Denise Burge and I collaborated on an online studio sale benefiting Queens Village Cincinnati. It featured sketches, paintings, and works on fabric with 70% of the proceeds going to Queens Village. I designed an online shop and produced all of the imagery and promotional materials used.

Queens Village was created by and for Black mothers, and invests in the leadership capabilities of Black women in Cincinnati. For more information check out their website: blackwomenforthewin.com
